Account & Billing
Refinedocs Pro operates on a license-based model, meaning there are no auto-renewing subscriptions to cancel. Once your license period (e.g., Monthly or Yearly) expires, your account will simply revert to the free tier.
Because we use Google Authentication, your login email and password are managed by your Google Account. You cannot change this directly within Refinedocs. If you wish to use a different email, you will need to sign out and log in with your new Google Account.
If you have paid, but are still receiving a limitation message while trying to use our tools, you have probably logged into an incorrect account. Check if your account is active via the Account page. Try logging out and back in with the correct Google account.
With a Refinedocs Pro license, you unlock unlimited access to all tools, batch conversion, high-speed processing without limitations, priority customer support, and an ad-free experience.
Absolutely. You can use Refinedocs for personal or business workflows, taking advantage of secure encryption and speedy cloud processing.
Payments
After purchasing a license, you receive a license key which you link to your account to instantly activate your Pro access. Since we use a license-based system rather than subscriptions, there are no hidden auto-charges.
We accept major credit/debit cards such as Visa, Mastercard, and American Express.
When a transaction is declined, it could be due to your bank blocking an international transaction, insufficient funds, or an expired card. Please check with your credit card provider for more information.
No, Refinedocs uses a strict license-based system so we do not unexpectedly charge you. When your license expires, you simply choose to purchase a new one if you'd like to continue using Pro.
Once you log in to your account, you can view and download all previous invoices on your Billing page.
Each Refinedocs license is intended for a single user account. If you need coverage for multiple users or a team, please check our business and team pricing options.
File Processing & Security
When the program can't complete a process, usually, browser extensions are the problem. Please disable all browser extensions when you use our service, or try to use a different browser.
If you have processed a file and clicked the 'Download' button, your file should be in your device's default download folder.
We care about your privacy. We secure all file transfers with an advanced TLS encryption level and process your files locally in your browser when possible or remove them automatically from our servers.
The formatting of your document may change slightly after converting text-heavy documents based on font availability. Using standard fonts ensures the best output.
We offer strong compression modes within our image and PDF compression tools. While we try to minimize size, some files contain highly compressed media that cannot be shrunk further without massive quality loss.
If the fonts in your document changed, it's most likely because we don't have access to original proprietary fonts on our servers. To prevent this issue, please try to embed your fonts before converting your files.
